Herring Quest was a project made during a residency at Herhusid in Siglufjordur, Iceland. It was made in collaboration with Trish Scott. Our project explored the herring fishing industry in the town, and its sudden decline in the 1960s due to over-fishing. We engaged in a number of ritualistic and absurd gestures to draw the herring back.
