AS is an intimate, open ‘space’ where no one is in charge, which allows for mutual acceptance of misunderstanding and difference as necessary contingencies of the creative process. In keeping with the multi-authored and collaborative framework of the project, this article outlines the theoretical and positional background of AS through the opinions and views of regular participants.
