The songs were written and recorded very quickly during 2022. I then spent lots of time fiddling with them. I realised the looseness of the original recordings was knotty and expansive like roots and tendrils under a meadow, so I went back to those versions. I play all the instruments including the wayward and clattering drums.

I love the sound of things almost falling apart.

The songs are about hybridity, the dissolution of binaries and borders, about capitalist illusions and becoming animal and feeding on the corpses of billionaires.
